Name of the Post: Project Assistant.
Salary: Rs…@18000/- (consolidated).
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Biological Sciences.
Desirable Qualifications: Prior experience in relevant field or having expertise in handling bacterial cultures, targeted PCR/genomics/proteomics.
Job Requirements: Collection and characterization of the isolates, testing and typing for Vibrio cholerae, antibiotic susceptibility testing, and characterization of antibiotic resistance mechanisms.
The project is valid for a period of one and half years. The selected candidate will be appointed on purely temporary basis initially for a period of one and half years or till his service are required by the Project Director or till the validity of the project, whichever is earliest.
