IIT Hyderabad Research Assistant Eligibility Criteria:
- B.Tech/B.E in Chemical/Mechanical Engr. Minimum 60% marks in UG degree
Age Limit(As on 31 January 2024): Less than 30 Years
Note: The selected candidate will be required to enrol for a project-funded 3-year M.Tech degree at Chemical Engr., IIT Hyderabad.

IIT Hyderabad Junior Research Fellow Eligibility Criteria:
- B.Tech. with Chemical/Materials Science Engineering with a minimum of 75% marks (or 8.0 CGPA) with a valid GATE score
- M.Sc. with Physics/Chemistry with a minimum of 75% marks (or 8.0 CGPA) with a valid UGC/CSIR NET qualification
- M.Tech. in Chemical/Materials Science/Energy Engineering with a minimum of 75% marks (or 8.0 CGPA)
- Desirable: Any research project in the area of electrochemistry/nanomaterials synthesis.
Duration: This position is for two years initially; however may be extended further for another year as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) subjected to performance, as evaluated by the duly formed committee. If the selected candidate also qualifies the eligibility criteria of Ph.D. in the Department of Chemical Engineering, he/she may be registered as a PhD student also.
Salary: Rs. 31,000/- per month (likely to be revised soon by SERB) + 24% House rent allowance. Accommodation inside the IITH campus is subject to availability.
